About us

We at PiD Solutions AS work with fire safety consulting throughout the building's life cycle, from
P - Prosjektering (in Norwegian) Design of fire safety, through
I - Implementering (in Norwegian) Implementation of fire safety, to
D - Drift (in Norwegian) the Operational phase of the fire safety design; which is why we are called PiD Solutions AS.

We are organized with headquarters in Tønsberg in Vestfold and a branch office in Gjøvik in Innlandet.

Our story

PiD Solutions AS was formed in 2011 by people with extensive experience in fire safety consulting and HSE. Originally, the idea was to digitalize HSE manuals and build an archive system that would replace binders and papers. In this way, we could ensure that the building’s documentation was always easily accessible, that it was searchable, and that the HSE manuals could be updated easily and quickly.

Today, we are 13 employees in PiD Solutions AS with broad expertise in fire, HSE and technology.

We offer comprehensive services in fire safety consulting, and our digital solutions have functionality far beyond the original archive system.

Central approval

In Norway, we have central approval for fire safety design (PRO), independet verification of fire safety design (UKPR) and coordinated control of execution of fire safety measures (KUT) in project class 3.

This means that we are qualified and authorized to perform tasks within the most demanding categories of construction projects.

PiD Solutions AS has prepared checklists and procedures for compliance with planning and building legislation, fire and explosion protection legislation, the internal control regulations and fire prevention regulations.
