PiD Prosjekt
There are many challenges when implementing construction projects.
We at PiD Solutions have developed a solution that aims to take care of all documentation in the project – and make it available to those who will live with the project after it is completed. The solution meets today’s requirements for documentation, and the system has tools that make the job efficient.
PiD Prosjekt makes it easy to keep track of all documents, agreements and tasks related to projects. As in PiD Drift, the system is built up of different modules, and access control allows you to decide which of the project members will have access to which modules.

Modules
One A Gantt chart, or diagram, is a useful way to display all tasks and events related to a
project. On the left side of the chart, a list of tasks and calendar events is displayed, and
along the top, a time scale for the entire project is displayed. All tasks are represented as a
thick line; the length and position of the line reflect the start and end dates of the activity.
This allows you to quickly get an overview of what the different activities are, when each
activity starts and ends, and where activities overlap with other activities. All tasks entered
from the task module are visible in the Gantt chart. You can easily make changes to tasks and
calendar events directly in the chart instead of going into the individual modules. The
activities in the chart can be filtered by using the search field, or by checking other types of
filters in the menu. The chart can be exported to PDF, PNG, and Excel formats.
All documentation related to the project is uploaded here. This can be anything from agreements,
FDV, HSE and
internal controls.
The archive supports file types that are common within construction projects, and it is possible
to version and tag
the files. The archive is set up according to a template prepared by our consultants, but you
can easily tailor the template to your own wishes.
With access control in PiD Prosjekt, you decide who will have access to which files and folders
in the archive.
When the project is completed, a new FDV is implemented together with existing documentation for
the property, so that
new routines can be established upon completion.
The task module in PiD Prosjekt is very easy to get started with, but has a lot of functionality and
great flexibility for those
who need to create a little more complicated tasks. In just a few keystrokes, you have created a
task with a title, deadline, and who is responsible for carrying it out. All tasks can be
categorized and prioritized, and you can
add multiple project members with different roles to the same task. You can also upload documents
and images, add
checklists, comment on the tasks, and tag them. If many tasks are linked to the same project, you
can choose to
create your own task groups, so that you can categorize the tasks based on task type.
In the calendar you can enter all appointments, meetings and deadlines associated with the project.
Calendar activities are visible in the Gantt chart and are represented by a calendar icon. You can
create and modify calendar events in both the Gantt chart and the calendar module. The calendar module
supports both single-day events and events that span multiple days.
All users who must have access to the PiD Prosjekt is registered by the project manager. Using
access control on the user groups, you can determine which project members will have access to which
modules in the system. You can also control who will have access to perform various operations
within the modules, such as uploading documents to the archive, creating tasks, and the like.
In PiD Prosjekt you have the opportunity to communicate using messages both associated with tasks and
files in archive. In the message field, you can tag other project members so that they will be notified
that a new message has been received.
